Andy Kim represents New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District. Previously, Kim had a long-standing career in public service at the Pentagon, State Department, the White House National Security Council, and in Afghanistan as an advisor to Generals Petraeus and Allen. In 2018, Kim became the first Democrat of Korean descent to serve in Congress and the second Democrat to represent New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District in 133 years. Kim serves on the Committees of Armed Services, Small Businesses, and is the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Economic Growth, Tax, and Capital Access. Kim lives in Burlington county with his wife and two sons.
