SHARICE DAVIDS

COMMITTED TO WORKING FOR YOU

Sharice Davids is a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin and in 2018, she made history as one of the first Native American women elected to serve in Congress. The daughter of a single mother Army veteran, Davids was raised with the strong values of diligence and patriotism. After graduating from Johnson County Community College, David completed her law degree at Cornell Law School.
After law school, she worked on Native American reservations, partnering with tribes to create economic development opportunities, programs, and initiatives. She worked on projects to promote entrepreneurs in the Greater Kansas City area with a focus on highlighting women, people of color and LGBTQ founders. Using her expertise, Davids has dedicated her career to helping create equity and economic opportunity for all communities. Davids now sits on the Transportation & Infrastructure and Small Business Committees, where she is working across the aisle to bring change and opportunity to Kansas families.
