Lou Correa is the son of working-class parents whose hard work gave him a chance at success. Lou has spent his career fighting to protect the American Dream, and ensure anyone can reach the middle class, just as he did.

Lou continues his fight as a community leader in Congress to give everyone access to the same opportunity he had. Lou is committed to working across party lines to strengthen the middle class and give everyone a shot at the American Dream by investing in education, healthcare, and our fading infrastructure. Lou has worked to support public health, safety services, and safety programs for children. Lou currently serves on the House Committee on Homeland Security, his work on the Committee has consisted of strengthening security at air, land, and seaports. Lou’s bipartisan work has led to additional drug detection canines at our borders and better cybersecurity to defend our networks. As the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Management Efficiency, Congressman Correa has worked in a bipartisan manner to improve innovation and acquisitions for the Department of Homeland Security to eliminate waste and protect taxpayers. He has championed affordable higher education and taxpayer equity while protecting taxpayers by fighting “waste, fraud, and abuse.” Loud also serves on the House Judiciary Committee and the House Committee on Agriculture.
