Amy Kennedy is running to represent New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District. An educator by training, Kennedy worked in the New Jersey public school system for over a decade. As a teacher and mother, she understands the importance of a solid educational system with access to mental wellness. Kennedy serves on the boards of Mental Health America and Parity.org, an organization dedicated to gender equality. She also serves as an advisory board member of Interaxon and Set To Go, programs dedicated to helping teens transition to college and adulthood. Kennedy graduated with her bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University and her master’s from Nova Southeastern University. She lives in southern New Jersey with her husband Patrick and their five children.
