Working families deserve better than politicians who will perpetuate extremism



Washington, D.C. - Today, CHC BOLD PAC Chairman Ruben Gallego issued the following statement regarding Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley. 


“Nikki Haley has never stood for America’s working families, Latinos, and women, instead she stood with extremists and backed Trump’s discriminatory policies. Her record of anti-immigrant and anti-worker policies has only served to burden Latino working families. During her time as the Governor of South Carolina, she signed a ban on abortions with no exceptions for rape or incest, she signed an extreme Arizona-style immigration bill into law, and actively opposed expanding Medicare and affordable access to healthcare,” said CHC BOLD PAC Chairman Ruben Gallego. “She’s trying to portray herself as part of a new generation of leadership, but don’t be fooled, Haley is the continuity of the dangerous MAGA agenda.”
