Steve Bullock is running to bring his experience as a seasoned elected official, who is dedicated to finding bipartisan solutions in Congress. 

Steve Bullock is the two-term Governor of Montana. Born and raised in Montana, Steve went to public school and graduated from Helena High School in 1984. Before he entered public service, Bullock worked as a consumer protection, small business, and labor lawyer and helped lead the fight to raise Montana’s minimum wage. He was elected Attorney General and fought the corrupting influence of money in politics by bringing the first legal challenge to the landmark campaign finance case known as Citizens United all the way to the Supreme Court. He also fought to protect access to public lands and streams. As Governor, he has worked across party lines with a Republican legislature and is noted for expanding Medicaid to cover 90,000 additional Montanans, making record investments in education, boosting job training programs, building Montana’s infrastructure and defending Montanans’ access to public lands.
