Chris Pappas has a proven record of putting the people of New Hampshire over politics. 

Chris Pappas was born and raised in New Hampshire. In 2002, Pappas was elected to the New Hampshire State House of Representatives where he served two terms. In 2006, Pappaswas elected as Treasurer of Hillsborough County. After years of serving the community in various elected positions, Pappas was elected to Congress in 2018 becoming the first openly LGBTQ+ Member elected from the state of New Hampshire. In Congress, Pappas has focused on improving access to health care, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, combating the opioid epidemic, and protecting our environment and drinking water. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations and the Vice Chair of the Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee. Pappas also serves on the Committees on Veteran’s Affairs and Transportation & Infrastructure as well as the subcommittee on Highway and Transit and Water Resources and Environment.
