CHC BOLD PAC Announces National Strategy to Support Early Mobilization of Latino Communities


 A six-figure investment will focus on empowering local grassroots organizations in key states to organize Latinos in Arizona, Florida, and Texas


Washington, D.C. – Today CHC BOLD PAC, the campaign arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, is announcing a national strategy to ensure early, consistent, and culturally competent outreach to the Latino community ahead of the November elections. 


BOLD PAC will partner with local organizations on the ground and empower them to continue educating, organizing, and mobilizing Latino communities in key states across the nation. The six figure investment will focus on grassroots efforts in Arizona, Florida, and Texas. Each of these states have multiple competitive elections up and down the ballot that will be integral to Democratic efforts to defend the White House and Senate and take back the House. 


“Latino voters will be integral to the 2024 elections, deciding whether Democrats are able to defend the White House, Senate, and take back the House. There is so much at stake for our community, and the future of America, highlighting the importance of ensuring that Latinos are mobilized and energized to vote for Democrats in November,” said BOLD PAC Chairwoman Linda Sánchez. “Since 2001, BOLD PAC has organized Latinos to build power and representation in Congress, emphasizing the importance of early, consistent, culturally competent outreach to our community. By partnering with local organizations in critical states nationwide, BOLD PAC will empower grassroots organizers to mobilize the Latino communities that will be decisive in the upcoming elections.”


Over the last two decades, BOLD PAC has fought to increase Latino representation in Congress. By employing a national mobilization strategy, BOLD PAC will enhance these efforts to ensure that the issues most relevant to Latino communities – such as good-paying jobs, reproductive freedom, access to healthcare, and voting rights – are well represented in Congress.


CHC BOLD PAC


BOLD PAC is the campaign arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) and is dedicated to increasing diversity in the House and Senate by getting more Latinos and Latinas elected. In 2022, BOLD PAC elected the largest Democratic CHC in history, bringing nine new Latinos to the House, including four in seats that were picked up by House Democrats. This was the result of over $6 Million in direct investments for Latino candidates, the largest sum in the organization’s history. Additionally, BOLD PAC played an integral role in protecting the Democratic majority in the Senate by helping re-elect Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, the first and only Latina in the Senate.
