CHC BOLD PAC Launches Major Investments in Oregon's 6th and Colorado's 8th Congressional Districts

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 27, 2024 Contact: Karla Rodriguez Karla@chcboldpac.com CHC BOLD PAC Launches Major Investments in Oregon's 6th and Colorado's 8th Congressional Districts Washington, D.C. - Today, CHC BOLD PAC, the campaign arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, announced significant general election investments in support of Yadira Caraveo in Colorado’s Eighth Congressional District and Andrea Salinas in Oregon’s Sixth Congressional District. Yadira Caraveo's six-figure investment includes a six-week bilingual mail program targeting Democratic and unaffiliated voters, along with a two-week reservation on Spanish-language broadcast, beginning October 22nd and continuing through Election Day. Andrea Salinas will receive a six-figure investment for a three-week ad reservation on Portland cable and streaming services, running from October 15th through Election Day. The cable buy will target young Independent women ages 18-49, Independent women 50+ and Independent men 18-49. The ads will air during NFL Countdown, College Game Day Live, as well as Oregon and Oregon State football games. On OTT/CTV BOLD PAC is utilizing top platforms for audiences including Youtube and NBC/Peacock as well as programmatic platforms such as stack adapt, TradeDesk and Simplifi. The buy will also use Katz Live to tap into live sports. CHC BOLD PAC BOLD PAC is the campaign arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) and is dedicated to increasing diversity in the House and Senate by getting more Latinos and Latinas elected. In 2022, BOLD PAC elected the largest Democratic CHC in history, bringing nine new Latinos to the House, including four in seats that were picked up by House Democrats. This was the result of over $6 Million in direct investments for Latino candidates, the largest sum in the organization’s history. Additionally, BOLD PAC played an integral role in protecting the Democratic majority in the Senate by helping re-elect Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, the first and only Latina in the Senate. ### CHC BOLD PAC, the campaign arm of the Hispanic Caucus, was founded in 2001 to increase Latino representation in Congress. Since its founding, BOLD PAC has more than doubled the size of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.
